Responsibilities
Greet and interact with residents in a friendly and professional mannerPromote a welcoming atmosphereDemonstrate excellent customer service and a "can-do" attitudeAttend to resident concerns and service requests within 24 hours
Follow up with residents to ensure a high level of customer satisfactionHandle office administrative tasks, such as processing online applications, creating notices, managing lease renewals, and other duties related to support daily operationsOrganize, promote and execute resident events (i.e. holiday parties & summer barbeques)General Cleaning
Maintain cleanliness of all common areas including foyers, amenity rooms, underground parking garage, locker rooms, patios, and rooftopsKnowledge and safe handling of cleaning chemicalsPerform thorough cleaning of vacant units, including appliances, floors, walls, windows, kitchens, washrooms, and balconies, ensuring they are move-in readyDust fire hose cabinets, bells and elevator tracks to minimize excess debrisMonitor and clean of garbage chutes, garbage and recycling roomsCollection of garbage and recycling bins in coordination with the city waste scheduleKnowledge and understanding of the safe handling of cleaning materials (WHMIS)Conduct yard maintenance, including picking up loose garbage around the exterior of the property, removing snow and ice, salting entrances, walkways, and rooftop walkwaysProperty Maintenance
Assist residents how to complete maintenance requests through the proper channelsDaily walkthroughs of each floor, stairwell, and common areas fixing minor deficienciesReport serious deficiencies related to curb appeal or safety hazards to the direct supervisor for further actionAssist the supervisor in HVAC monitoring, troubleshooting minor electrical, plumbing, boiler & chiller maintenanceAssist the supervisor with scheduling and overseeing repair activities of tradesmen and contractors as requiredQualifications
Previous or similar property management experience an assetStrong customer service skillsGood written and verbal communication skills
Basic computer and keyboarding skillsAbility to perform general cleaning duties, and minor maintenance repairsMust be able to lift up to 50 lbs.Ability to push and move objects exceeding 50 lbs.
