Responsibilities :
- Develop strategies for procurement to optimize quality, cost savings and inventory levels
- Lead the procurement and supply chain team and provide ongoing coaching and mentorship
- Manage procurement and inventory budgets, and ensure products meet or exceed pricing
- Lead negotiation on purchase contracts, vendor qualification process and oversees vendor compliance
- Manage lifecycle of contracts, monitor performance and enforce terms and conditions
- Manage relationship with suppliers and evaluate supplier performance
- Identify efficiencies and improve processes within procurement and inventory
Desired Qualifications :
Post-secondary degree in business, supply chain, or related, master’s degree considered an asset10+ years supply chain, procurement, and contract management experience with 3+ years leadershipWorking knowledge of procurement, contract law and supply chain management principlesStrong communication, interpersonal, negotiation and leadership skillsAnalytically minded with success recognizing trends and driving strategic decisionsRemuneration :
