Project Supervisor – Chemainus

Compensation : $35-$40 / hour

Project Supervisors work directly with our Project Managers to ensure the correct execution and timely completion of projects. Supervising operations personnel and working on various projects in the field ensures the Project Supervisor is always on the move. With their extensive construction / restoration experience, strong organizational abilities, and passion for getting work done on time and under budget, the Project Supervisor is key to On Side’s success.

Project Supervisors are responsible for :

• Overseeing commercial and residential rebuilds / restoration projects
• Dealing with permits and city representatives on commercial projects
• Collaborating with Project Managers to organize and execute scope of work
• Communicating with Project Managers, direct reports, and home owners
• Working within a budget to get a job done
• Leadership and Coaching Field Staff
• Health & Safety on jobs sites
• Leading large teams on site (sometimes multiple sites) including in house staff, sub-trades while collaborating with other tradespeople, vendors, clients, and environmental consultants to achieve outcomes
• Responsibility for team schedule
• Monitor and maintain schedules, communicating with stakeholders regularly to ensure customer satisfaction
• Documentation of site visits and job progress
• Site Safety Inspections

Of Note

The restoration industry requires flexibility to respond to emergencies. While this role is not a scheduled on-call position, be aware that unforeseen disasters may necessitate after-hours work and an On Call ability.
