Job descriptionYou are working on a Post-secondary education in a relevant field, such as crop sciences, or agriculture. Must be physically strong and be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Strong interpersonal skills. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. The ability to work independently, and as part of a team. Must be creative and resourceful. Must be highly motivated. Will look at making this a career path, to grow with the Agro Department. Must hold a valid AB Class 5 driving license.
What you’ll do :
Reporting to the Agronomist & Agro Manager, you will be responsible for :
- Assisting with field scouting and agronomy duties.
- Assisting with product shipping and receiving.
- Merchandising, Stocking and Rotating of Agro products.
- Delivery and pickups at farms or other locations.
- Provide exceptional customer service.
- Housekeeping and yard maintenance duties.
- Maintain and follow all standards for health and safety, loss prevention, and environmental due diligence.
- And all related duties as directed.
