Job: Programming & Promotions Coordinator

We are currently looking for a Programming and Promotions Coordinator to join our NL Programming team!

Stingray Radio NL has a rare opportunity for someone who knows how to have fun and can represent our brands in an energetic, responsible, and professional manner both on and off the air. The successful candidate will perform a variety of tasks for HOT 99.1 and other Stingray NL Stations

Your day-to-day

• Music scheduling, log editing, and uploading of programming as required for HOT 991
• Daily programming support
• Create, maintain, and manage social and digital content
• Support listener contests, databases, and station promotions
• Manage prize inventory and winner fulfillment process
• Coordinate and support station remotes and events
• On-air and voice-tracking fill-in when required
• Attend and actively participate in weekly meetings and station planning.
• Weekly production tasks
• Support remote broadcasts as required for any Newfoundland Stingray station.
• Perform other duties as assigned

Your qualifications

• Excellent time management skills and ability to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines
• Detail oriented
• Strong writing and oral presentation skills
• A strong understanding of promotions and brand representation
• Awareness that radio is a 24/7 medium and willingness to step up outside of the 9-5
• Proven social media experience, including posting, monitoring, and audience engagement
• Previous experience working in radio, including on-air experience an asset
• General knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe Photoshop, and audio editing software
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license
