Job description

Join a locally owned and operated store to help deliver health, beauty, and convenience services in your community, with a focus on exceptional customer service.

Summary :

  • Provide prompt and superior customer service at the retail postal outlet.
  • Maintain an excellent customer service and checkout area.

Duties & Responsibilities :

Customer Service :

  • Engage positively with all customers and provide excellent service.
  • Keep the checkout area neat and organized.
  • Greet customers warmly.
  • Scan or manually enter product data accurately.
  • Manage cash, coupons, lottery, and PC Optimum transactions accurately.
  • Request PC Optimum Card from customers during each transaction.

    • Merchandising :

  • Complete proper documentation for receipts and returns.
  • Maintain designated merchandising areas (facing, signing, labeling, etc.).

    • Loss Prevention :

  • Follow loss prevention standards.
  • Control cash, lottery, and stamp inventory.

    • General :

  • Present a professional image according to Uniform Policy and Dress Code Guidelines.
  • Follow all health and safety regulations.
  • Adhere to store policies and procedures.
  • Maintain cleanliness and store image standards.
  • Perform other duties as required.

    • Qualifications :

  • Strong planning, judgment, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to balance teamwork and efficiency.
  • Organized and neat.
  • Efficient in processing customer orders.

    • Experience :

  • Proficient computer and register skills.
  • Well-organized with good record-keeping abilities.
  • Detail-oriented.
