Job Title : Social Emergency Response Coordinator, Full-time, Permanent (Based on Funding Availability)

Position Description : Under the general direction of the Community Safety Manager, the Social Emergency Response Coordinator develops, coordinates, and manages comprehensive response plans for mental health and health emergencies within the community. This role involves collaboration with local health departments, mental health professionals, emergency services, and community organizations to ensure effective and timely responses to crises.

Major Responsibilities :

• Emergency Response Planning : Develop and maintain comprehensive social emergency response plans and protocols for public health and mental health crises.
• Coordination and Communication : Act as the central point of contact for coordinating responses during a social emergency among stakeholders, ensuring clear and timely communication.
• Data Collection and Analysis : Collect, analyze, and interpret crisis-related data to inform decision-making and provide updates.
• Evaluating Needs and Trends : Continuously assess and adapt strategies to address evolving needs and trends related to the crisis.
