The firm is based in Alberta and is now opening a small satellite office in Penticton, BC, offering a unique opportunity for an experienced professional to work independently while contributing to a diverse portfolio of institutional, multi-family,mercial, and cultural projects.Your new roleYou’ll be the key architectural team member in the Penticton office, responsible for managing project tasks across all phases—from design development to construction documentation and administration. You’ll collaborate remotely with the main studio and consultants, ensuring project milestones are met while maintaining design integrity and technical excellence.Responsibilities include:
- Producing detailed design and construction documents.
- Coordinating with consultants, clients, and the main office team.
- Conducting site visits and field reviews.
- Preparing permit and tender packages.
- Managing timelines and deliverables independently.
What you'll need to succeed
- Degree or diploma in Architecture or Architectural Technology.
- 3–6 years of relevant Canadian experience.
- Strong proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office.
- Solid understanding of BC Building Code and local permitting processes.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote office setting. with up to 4 days remote depending on your location!
- Registration or eligibility for registration with AIBC is an asset.
