Join our client's team as an HR Generalist and play a vital role in driving human resources strategies and supporting business objectives across the organization. This position is instrumental in enhancing employee relations, optimizing HR systems, and fostering a culture of learning and development.
Responsibilities :
- Implement employee relations strategies that promote trust, accountability, and engagement.
- Conduct workplace investigations promptly, ensuring documentation and resolution.
- Facilitate regular meetings with leaders to assess team needs and identify opportunities for growth.
- Stay informed on legislative changes and HR trends, sharing relevant insights with HR and senior leadership.
- Act as the functional lead for HRIS improvements in collaboration with functional departments.
- Prepare and distribute regular and ad-hoc HR reports and dashboards for leadership review.
- Drive talent development, retention, and performance management strategies for critical roles
- Perform other tasks as assigned to support organizational needs.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, with active pursuit of formal HR accreditations.Minimum of 2 years of HR experience, preferably in the manufacturing, logistics or transportation industry.Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now and Microsoft Office Suite.Strong knowledge of Canadian employment laws and regulationsExceptional interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.Proven ability to manage priorities, meet deadlines, and resolve issues effectively.
