Job description

Join our client's team as an HR Generalist and play a vital role in driving human resources strategies and supporting business objectives across the organization. This position is instrumental in enhancing employee relations, optimizing HR systems, and fostering a culture of learning and development.

Responsibilities :

  • Implement employee relations strategies that promote trust, accountability, and engagement.
  • Conduct workplace investigations promptly, ensuring documentation and resolution.
  • Facilitate regular meetings with leaders to assess team needs and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Stay informed on legislative changes and HR trends, sharing relevant insights with HR and senior leadership.
  • Act as the functional lead for HRIS improvements in collaboration with functional departments.
  • Prepare and distribute regular and ad-hoc HR reports and dashboards for leadership review.
  • Drive talent development, retention, and performance management strategies for critical roles
  • Perform other tasks as assigned to support organizational needs.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, with active pursuit of formal HR accreditations.
  • Minimum of 2 years of HR experience, preferably in the manufacturing, logistics or transportation industry.
  • Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong knowledge of Canadian employment laws and regulations
  • Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage priorities, meet deadlines, and resolve issues effectively.
