Voyago is hiring a Full-Time Driver Trainer for our Niagara Region Transit Location! As a Trainer for our On Demand Service drivers, you will take pride in playing a key role in ensuring the independence and mobility of our city’s most vulnerable passengers. Your efforts will directly contribute to their ability to access essential services, appointments, and daily activities safely and comfortably. You will deliver hands on training to our drivers to ensure they provide safe, reliable transportation, while delivering excellent customer service and assisting passengers with care and respect.
Your Role
- Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Driver Trainer is responsible for training and teaching employees how to drive all Company owned vehicles in a safe and professional manner
- You will complete full Driving Assessments
- You will provide approved Voyago divisional training as required
- You will attend internal or outside instructional training programs as required by transit division manager
- You will be facilitating new hire orientations

You have a G class driver's licenseYou possess a clean driving record and Criminal Record Search with Vulnerable Sector ScreeningYou have excellent customer service experienceYou have a strong teaching / instructional backgroundYou have strong attention to detailYou have superior organization and communications skillsYou have availability to work flexible hours Monday to Friday (the occasional weekend)You have an understanding of vehicle for hire industryYou have knowledge of wheelchair tie downs and q-straintYou possess a clean driver’s abstractYou have previous Driver Assessment experienceYour Location
