Overview

We are seeking a senior AR leader to manage and develop AR services for Nutrien North America operations, partnering with the Senior Manager, OTC Operational Excellence.

What You Will Do

• Partner with the Senior Manager, OTC Operational Excellence to plan, manage, and deliver Accounts Receivable (AR) support services for Nutrien North America operations.
• Lead and develop a team responsible for AR processes including reconciliations, cash application, AR adjustments, AFDA, unapplied cash, unclaimed property, invoicing, and general ledger payments.
• Provide strong accounting and leadership oversight during the transition to SAP S / 4HANA, while navigating coexistence with current systems (PeopleSoft, ARS, Hyland OnBase, SAP ECC, EBS Oracle).
• Act as a subject matter expert in accounting practices, ensuring compliance with GAAP / IFRS standards, company policies, and audit requirements.
• Identify areas for process improvement, develop and execute action plans, and drive sustainable results.
• Leverage strong Excel and analytical skills to provide reporting, insights, and recommendations that support financial accuracy and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate across Finance, Credit, Treasury, IT, Operations, and other teams to resolve issues and improve end-to-end processes.
• Mentor, coach, and support team members by setting clear goals, providing feedback, and preparing them for future leadership opportunities.
• Contribute to broader business initiatives and change management efforts, ensuring adoption and success across the organization.
