Job Description:

Position Summary:

The Inbound QC Technician is responsible for ensuring all medical devices are assembled to the highest standards of quality and safety. They will inspect all inbound parts according to current engineering drawings using specific tools.

Education and Experience:

• 2+ years of experience in Quality Control in a similar field.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience with medical devices.
• Relevant Quality certifications are a plus.

• Strong understanding of quality inspection methods.

Job-specific Duties and Responsibilities:

• Inspect incoming materials and components for compliance with quality standards.
• Perform testing protocols to evaluate functionality and performance, ensuring calibration and maintenance of testing equipment.
• Maintain detailed records of inspections and tests, noting deviations or non-conformances.
• Record NCRs and investigate quality issues to identify root causes.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, purchasing, sourcing, materials, and quality assurance teams to resolve quality concerns.
• Test a percentage of parts per established standards.
• Report product defects or issues.
• Train new QC Technicians as needed.
• Analyze inspection data and quality metrics to identify trends and recurring issues.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the IQC/OQC or Quality Managers.
