Electrical Technical Coordinator

Role Overview

We are seeking an Electrical Technical Coordinator to support the delivery of electrical systems and installations on the Eglinton Crosstown West Extension – Stations, Rail, and Systems (SRS) Project. This role ensures technical accuracy, quality, and compliance with project specifications and regulatory standards while working closely with design, construction, and project management teams. Position Type: Full‑time • Seniority Level: Mid‑Senior.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and review electrical design drawings, specifications, and submittals to confirm they meet project requirements.
• Provide technical support and guidance to site teams throughout construction and commissioning.
• Work with design consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to address design questions and resolve installation challenges.
• Assist in preparing RFIs, change notices, and other technical documentation.
• Perform site inspections to ensure electrical installations meet quality and safety expectations.
• Support commissioning efforts, including testing and validating electrical systems.
• Maintain up‑to‑date records of as‑built drawings, technical data, and inspection documentation.
• Ensure all electrical work adheres to relevant codes, standards, and project specifications.
• Collaborate with other technical disciplines to support a coordinated and integrated project delivery.

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in electrical coordination within the ICI or infrastructure sectors.
• Solid knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution, and low‑voltage installations.
• Experience working with construction drawings, AutoCAD, and project management documentation.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary project team.
