Qualifications

What We’re Looking For

• Water meter installation or plumbing experience (preferred, but not required—we’ll train the right candidate).

• Strong technical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

• Basic plumbing and carpentry ability.

• Comfortable using handheld tools, computers, and navigation equipment.

• Positive attitude, punctuality, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Valid driver’s license and reliable, insured vehicle.

• Willingness to work outdoors year-round and in confined spaces (training provided).

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

• Active HST number (for contract billing).

What You’ll Do

• Install, replace, and test Sensus water meters in a variety of residential and commercial locations.

• Use handheld computers, GPS, and programming tools to record and verify installation data.

• Interact directly with customers, delivering professional and courteous service every time.

• Complete accurate work orders and uphold Wamco’s safety and quality standards.

Work Environment

• Outdoor job sites in various weather conditions.

• Team-driven environment with strong field and office support.

• Company-provided uniforms and PPE are required.
