In the role of Mainline Optimization Engineering Intern you will assist in the portfolio management of capital growth an excellent job for people who are studying any Engineer discipline.

Placement Details :

This is a 4 month placement starting in May 2026 located inCalgary Alberta.

What you will do :

The team has an overall responsibility for portfolio management of the Liquids Pipelines (LP) capital growth this role there will be :

• Regular interface with the Project Development Teams and Project Execution Teams assigned to the LP Projects.
• Coordination of various internal stakeholders to align on :
• Project charters
• Project scope and infrastructure requirements
• Cost estimates
• Project schedules
• Engineering
• Procurement
• Construction
• Outage coordination
• Engage in discussions around Project Execution including project sequencing and bundling
• Producing decision records for key issues
• This could involve assignments of specific technical issues to research and align on understanding the issue.
• Producing materials that will provide regular updates to LP Business Development and LP Leadership.
• Initiate new ideas and methods for project designs relating to cost effectiveness.
