The Opportunity
Multiple full time, permanent opportunities are available in Mental Health & Addictions, Rehab & Continuing Care, Long Term Care and Children and Women’s Health.
Duties include : clinical assessment of the comprehensive mental needs of the specific group : Adults (including long term care residents), Children, Adolescents and their families who are dealing with complex issues such as addictions, mental health issues, anxiety, behavioral and learning issues, trauma, witnessing violence, child sexual abuse, maltreatment, separation and divorce, and parenting children and adolescents
The successful incumbent(s) will provide advanced clinical intervention to these groups through a broad range of therapeutic frameworks including individual therapy, family therapy, play therapy, group therapy (both with children and parents), and trauma debriefing; research, analyze, and implement theoretical frameworks to address the specific mental health needs of this population; design, develop, implement and evaluate group treatment programs specific to the identified needs; provide community education sessions and consultation. Dependent on the area of care, providing care to the single session walk in clinic is an expectation of this position.
The Clinical Psychologist functions autonomously and may involve direct supervision of provisionally registered psychologists, psychology doctoral residents and students. These positions maintain accountability to the Psychology Professional Practice Consultant for professional integrity and practice issues.

Compensation / Hours and Incentives
Hourly : $45.01 - $53.19
The following Sign on Incentives may be applicable and can be combined :
1. Signing bonus up to $10,000
2. Come Home incentive up to $50,000
3. Annual Market Differential of $15,000
4. Student Bursary up to $20,000
5. Relocation support
Hours of Work : 75 bi-weekly (8-hour days) Flexible work arrangement required
