Primary Duties & Responsibilities

Manage territory throughout Provinces of Alberta & Saskatchewan (Sales growth for new and existing

accounts)

Accountable to meet or exceed fiscal sales targets and budgets for the assigned

territory (Annual, Quarterly)

Search for potential new business opportunities (prospecting, cold-calling, new account

development)

Actively educate and promote MedQuest portfolio products to existing and new customers

Inservicing, presentations, procedure support)

Account relationship development & maintenance (regular in-person visits)

Demand creation for the organization’s products and services through regular sales activities

Administrative duties (Expense Reports, Pipeline updates to company CRM, sales forecast with

internal team, account plans)

Business travel throughout Alberta & Saskatchewan – some travel outside may be required for training

and other business responsibilities

Provide feedback and stay in close communication around customer needs, competitive

insights, sales objections etc.

Self-motivated with the ability to work effectively as an independent sales leader

Successfully manage varied sale cycles consisting of multiple stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of quota-based sales experience

Demonstrated background in cold-calling, commissioned, full-cycle sales experience

Prior Experience in Business and Healthcare with previous medical device sales experience (Not

required but preferred)

Intermediate level skill in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, Google Doc, Teams)

Self-discipline for continuous learning (Self-directed learning / training and professional

development)

Consideration will be given to clinical candidates without sales experience who want to make a

career switch (Nurses, RTs, Technologists are welcome to apply)

Solid understanding of the Canadian Healthcare System (Funding Pathways, Patient Journey)

Strong interpersonal and communication skills – presentation skills

Travel

In this role you will be required to travel approximately 50% of the time or greater

Valid driver’s license is required

Attend trade shows, conferences and conventions as required

Conduct regular field swings to visit accounts throughout assigned territory
