Job description

The St-Augustin private seniors' residence is looking for two people to fill two part-time daytime beneficiary attendant (PAB) positions at the end week.

  • Candidates must have a DEP beneficiary attendant or RAC certificate or 5000 hours accumulated over the last 5 years in the position of PAB + RCR 16 hours up to date + PDSB completed.

Purpose of the position

Schedule : - a LOI 90 2 / 14 weekend position from 7 : 30 to 3 : 30 with responsibility bonus- a law-free 90 2 / 14 day position every other weekend, perfect for students Specifically, your daily life with us will look like :

  • Administer medication in accordance with safety principles and the codes of ethics
  • Assist and / or accompany residents in getting around
  • While interacting with them, report any noticeable changes in a residents mental or physical health to the on-call nurse.
  • Contribute to the adjustment of a residents' action plan based on their observations
  • Proactively assist and support the residents
  • Adhere to standards and regulations in accordance with private seniors' home certification and employer policies
  • In collaboration with the different teams, carry out health and hygienic care to the residents while maintaining their dignity and integrity .
  • Answering call bells
  • Respond to all emergency situations
