Lullaboo Nursery & Childcare Center is seeking a full-time Graphic Designer and Social Media Specialist to join our team. This role is ideal for a creative and detail-oriented professional who can design engaging visual content across multiple platforms and manage our social media presence to enhance brand awareness and engagement. This position is on-site and requires working in the office.
Key Responsibilities :
- Graphic & Print Design : Create visually compelling designs for both print and digital materials, including flyers, posters, banners, logos, invitations, newsletters, newspaper ads, and other marketing collateral.
- Web & UI / UX Design : Develop and enhance websites by incorporating interactive features, ensuring smooth navigation, and optimizing accessibility.
- Social Media Management :
- Develop and implement social media strategies to grow engagement and brand visibility.
- Create and schedule visually appealing and engaging content across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, , etc.).
- Monitor social media trends and analytics to optimize content performance.
- Engage with followers, respond to comments / messages, and foster online community interaction.
- Brand Consistency : Carry projects from concept to completion while adhering to brand guidelines.
- Stakeholder Collaboration : Work closely with various teams and decision-makers to develop visually appealing and effective communication materials.
- Print Production Coordination : Manage print orders and liaise with external suppliers to ensure high-quality output.
- Project Management : Handle multiple design and social media projects with tight deadlines while maintaining a high standard of quality and creativity.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
Diploma or degree in Graphic Design, Digital Marketing, or a related field .Minimum 3 years of experience in graphic design, with a strong portfolio of creative work.At least 2 years of experience in social media management, content creation, or digital marketing.Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) and Figma for UI / UX and digital design.Strong knowledge of social media platforms, analytics tools, and content scheduling software .Familiarity with HTML and CSS .Experience working with WordPress and other content management systems (CMS) for website design and management.Solid understanding of print production processes , including pre-press and web-based technologies.Excellent organizational and time management skills , with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.Additional Assets :
Photography and Videography Skills : Experience capturing high-quality photos and videos for marketing and social media.Owns Photography Equipment : Possession of a professional camera, lenses, and lighting equipment is a strong asset.Experience with social media advertising (Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads, etc.) .Vulnerable Sector Criminal Reference Check (completed within the last six months).Valid Standard First Aid and CPR Level C certification .If you are a creative professional passionate about design and social media, we encourage you to apply and contribute to our growing organization.
