Job descriptionUrban area Deliver and pick up messages, parcels, and other items by hand Operate and drive automobiles, vans and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products Professionalism in customer service Receive and relay information to central dispatch Keep a record of items received and delivered Load and unload goods Follow directions and read map Use maps and other trip planning aids Record trip information such as vehicle mileage, fuel costs and any problems Provide customer service Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle Class 5 / 5F / G Licence (cars, small trucks and other 2-axle vehicles) Local Criminal record check Bondable Driver's validity licence check Driving record check (abstract) Basic security clearance Driver's abstract Vehicle supplied by employer Valid driver's licence Fast-paced environment Work under pressure Physically demanding Up to 45 kg (100 lbs) Steel-toed safety boots Gloves Client focus Efficient interpersonal skills Flexibility Judgement Organized Reliability Team player Accurate Group insurance benefits Life insurance Other benefits A permanent resident of Canada A temporary resident of Canada with a valid work permit
