Job descriptionAssemble and modify mock-ups and models based on specific instructions or under technical supervision of more experienced technicians or technical staff. Perform assembly, modifications, and verification of equipment test benches. Conduct tests, alignment, and calibration of intermediate-complexity production units and systems. Record data related to test or experiment results. Prepare reports and may make recommendations within assigned tasks. Monitor and test units in thermal or vacuum chambers. Follow and understand flight test processes. Perform work in accordance with internal procedures and comply with health and safety regulations. Able to search for documents and parts using MDA electronic tools (WebPLM, InforLN, etc.). Perform other related tasks. Diplôme collégial (DEC) ou équivalent en génie mécanique, électromécanique, génie électrique, électronique ou dans un domaine connexe selon l’affectation. 0 à 2 ans d’expérience pertinente (techniciens juniors) ou 3+ ans d’expérience pertinente (intermédiaire) et connaissances selon l’affectation. Maîtrise du français et de l’anglais, à l’oral et à l’écrit. Assembler et modifier des maquettes et modèles selon des instructions spécifiques ou sous la supervision technique de techniciens ou personnel expérimenté. Effectuer l’assemblage, les modifications et la vérification des bancs d’essai d’équipements. Réaliser des tests, des alignements et des calibrations d’unités et de systèmes de production de complexité intermédiaire. Enregistrer les données liées aux résultats des tests ou expériences. Préparer des rapports et formuler des recommandations dans le cadre des tâches assignées. Surveiller et tester les unités dans des chambres thermiques ou sous vide. Suivre et comprendre les processus de tests en vol. Effectuer le travail conformément aux procédures internes et respecter les règlements de santé et sécurité. Rechercher des documents et des pièces en utilisant les outils électroniques de MDA (WebPLM, InforLN, etc.).

- College diploma (DEC) or equivalent in mechanical engineering, electromechanics, electrical engineering, electronics, or a related field depending on assignment
- 0 to 2 years of relevant experience (junior technicians) 3+ years of relevant experience (intermediate) and knowledge depending on assignment
- Proficiency in French and English, both written and spoken
Job Description

Technicians will be responsible for performing various tasks related to established systems or new tasks of medium complexity. Technicians will work from written guidelines or general instructions and participates in testing complex production units and systems.
