We are looking for a dedicated Repair Planner to be an integral part of the daily operations at our Aviva AutoCare Centre located in Mississauga.
In this role, you will be responsible for handling moderate to complex physical damage appraisals, assessing damage and completing re‑inspections for quality assurance while providing exceptional customer service. You will act as a technical resource for Estimators. The Repair Planner understands the repair process in more detail and conducts deep‑dive assessments on the repair procedures.

What You’ll Do
Examine damaged vehicles to determine the extent of structural, body, mechanical, or interior damageComplete appraisals and determine proper repair methods and pricingMonitor daily productivity of all assignments and corresponding recordsMonitor progress and completion of vehicles in the shop, ensuring proper repair and safety procedures are followedControl the method and cost of repairs to vehicles by using established industry regulatory practices and corporate guidelinesComplete total loss evaluations through market and Autosource searchComplete remote appraisalsMake decisions that positively impact the site and the customerPromote Aviva AutoCare Centre values and goalsWhat You’ll Bring
Post‑secondary educationMinimum 5 years auto estimating experienceRepair planning experienceExperience within the automotive repair industryExcellent customer service skills combined with outstanding communication and conflict‑resolution skillsStrong knowledge of automotive / equipment preventive maintenance, refurbishment and repair practices and proceduresDemonstrates adaptability and openness to change with a proactive mindset in embracing new work practices and technologiesProficiency using body shop management systems; knowledge of Body Shop Connect preferredExcellent organizational, time‑management and interpersonal skillsCommitment to an environment of continuous improvementProven ability to manage multiple tasks effectivelyDetail oriented with an emphasis on quality controlAbility to take direction and perform well under pressureStrong awareness of safety practices and proceduresWhat You’ll Get
