Another Mason Group exclusive! Our downtown Vancouver client is looking for an experienced CFO for their publicly traded, producing mining company.
If you are a Canadian CPA, experienced as a hands-on CFO with a small to mid size producing mine, please consider this opportunity.
Our rapidly growing Vancouver client has asked us to find an experienced individual who will excel in their entrepreneurial environment as CFO.
You are someone who enjoys working with a talented team both locally and at site, and are happy to jump in when asked and help with anything from a routine task to a complicated transaction.
Some international travel will be required.
This really is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing and very successful group. This will be a hybrid role best suited to being in-office’ with work-from-home’ flexibility.
The office is located in Downtown Vancouver with easy access to transit and great restaurants.

Job Requirements :
- A Canadian CPA designation, with 3+ years of CFO experience for a publicly traded producing mining company.
- A Minimum of 8+ years of post-designation experience.
- Public practice experience, with 2+ years of auditing publicly traded companies is preferred.
- Comfortable with the standards, filings and reporting requirements for a publicly traded company.
- Very strong written & verbal English communications skills.
- Organized, and detail oriented with a passion for continuous improvements.
- Experience with ERP implementations a differentiator.
- Strong analytical and modelling skills.
- The ability to speak Spanish is a nice to have but definitely not required.
