Job description

Job Summary

NAVBLUE is seeking a SAFe Product Owner (PO) to join the NAVBLUE North America Software Factory team. The PO plays a crucial role in translating business and operational needs into actionable User Stories and working closely with the development team to ensure their proper implementation according to the Definition of Done.

Responsibilities

  • Follow the SAFe framework guidelines for Product Ownership.
  • Transform business needs into User Stories, collaborating with Product Management and the Software Factory.
  • Lead by example in deploying Lean-Agile principles and breaking down silos.
  • Bridge the gap between recommended processes and daily business practices.
  • Work closely with the development team to enhance performance and focus on delivering value.
  • Transition effectively between functional and technical domains.
  • Manage multiple teams as needed.

Required Skills / Experience

  • Minimum 3 years experience as a Product Owner or similar role.
  • Solid experience in the Aviation industry, especially Crew or Flight Operations digital solutions.
  • Experience with SAFe methodology.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • English negotiation level.

    • Qualifications

  • Degree in software engineering, aeronautics, or equivalent experience.

    • The role requires awareness of compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, supporting the company's success and reputation.
