JOB SUMMARY

The Rebar Fabrication Supervisor will be responsible for managing daily production, operating necessary equipment, ensuring delivery of loads go out in a timely manner as well as supervising the crew. As the shop floor supervisor, you will be expected to provide daily activity reports and ensure a safe and positive work environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for the supervision of the shop fabrication team

Assist with operating all equipment; shears, benders, overhead cranes and forklifts

Assist with hiring shop staff

Delegate daily assignments to ensure production goals are met

Complete daily activity reports

Collaborate with admin on fabrication and delivery schedules

Manage rebar deliveries

Other duties as requested by management.

QUALIFICATIONS

A successful Rebar Fabrication Supervisor at Dass will have :

Knowledge of how to operate and maintain all rebar equipment, safely and efficiently.

Must have 3 years’ experience in a rebar fabrication shop

Ability to think “outside the box” and be willing to try new methods.

Self-motivation and be highly organized.

Ability to collaborate and build productive relationships with co-workers.

Experience in a leadership role
