The Opportunity

As a Manager in our Canadian Banking Technology Consulting team within the Platforms group, you’ll play a key role in delivering technology solutions for financial institutions. You’ll work directly on projects involving modernization, data migration, cloud migration, and core banking transformation. You’ll collaborate with clients and project teams to execute strategies, solve technical challenges, and ensure successful delivery of solutions.

• Your Key Responsibilities
  Execute delivery of banking technology projects, including data migration, cloud migration, data strategy, and modernization of data platforms and core banking systems.
• Effective management of client stakeholders, understanding their key objectives, and developing solutions to address their core challenges.
• Manage project tasks, timelines, and deliverables to ensure high-quality outcomes.
• Own and drive work streams and deliverables, ensuring accountability and end-to-end execution.
• Prepare documentation, reports, and presentations to support project delivery.
• Work closely with senior managers and directors to support solution development and project planning.
• Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in banking technology and platforms.

Skills and Attributes for Success

• Hands on experience in core banking modernization, data and technology integration, cloud migration and other related technology initiatives.
• Consulting and banking experience, ideally including banking technology implementations.
• Ability to manage multiple project tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical execution skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Agile, growth-oriented mindset with a passion for innovation and continuous learning.

Ideally, You’ll Also Have

• Experience with Agile methodology, business and IT architecture, and core banking software (, Infosys Finacle, Temenos, Thought Machine).
• Commercial and retail banking expertise, technology transformation strategy, planning, and delivery.
• Experience supporting engagement commercials and deal structuring.
• Knowledge of complex ecosystems, application integration architecture, data architecture, and delivery governance.

What We Look For

• Bachelor’s degree in technology, engineering, business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 5+ years of experience delivering projects through strategy, design, build, test, and delivery.
• At least 3 years’ experience in consulting, ideally in financial services and banking.
• Ability to work with diverse teams, including software vendors and sub-contractors, in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• On-site work with clients in the GTA 2–3 days a week is required.
