You will be joining a growing organization operating in the tourism and leisure sector, backed by a well‑established international group. Thepany is expanding its Canadian platform through the acquisition and development of major tourism sites. You will work in a dynamic, collaborative environment where operational excellence, financial discipline, and long‑term vision are core values. The role is based in Montréal, with a hybrid work structure and occasional travel required to visit the two parks.

Your new role

As the Financial Controller, you will play a key operational and strategic role within the Canadian finance function. Reporting directly to the Deputy General Director and working closely with the North American Finance Director, you will oversee all accounting, fiscal, and financing activities across the holding and operating entities. Your responsibilities will include supervising the production of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (individual and consolidated), implementing and optimizing internal controls and accounting processes, leading month‑end closings, and coordinating tax strategy and filings (ie tax, TPS / TVQ). You will also manage banking relationships, oversee financing structures, monitor financial KPIs, analyze risks, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the platform.

What you'll need to succeed

• A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; a DESS, CPA designation, or equivalent graduate training is an asset.
• 8–10 years of relevant financial experience, ideally including time in public accounting (firm experience strongly valued).
• Excellent knowledge of Canadian accounting standards and tax regulations.
• Strongmand of Excel and experience with accounting software (Solusoft expertise is an asset).
• Bilingualism in French and English, both spoken and written.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work autonomously while fostering collaboration across teams.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a growing environment and maintain professionalism in allmunications.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to visit thepany’s tourism sites (as needed).
