Senior Business System Analyst (IAM)

Location : Toronto, ON, Hybrid (3 days onsite per week)

Contract Length : 6 Months.

What will you do? (there is lots more on this in a nutshell )

Ability to interface with stakeholders and understand requirements to manage the requirements definition process from elicitation through delivery (via BRDs and / or user stories, etc.

and implementation (defining and evaluating acceptance criteria).

Ability to evaluate, test, and recommend enhancements and changes, identify risks and propose mitigation plan while having the ability to drive the solution design process;

develop and execute test cases where applicable; own defects analysis and validation of defects remediation.

Experience with elicitation techniques (e.g. document analysis, interviews, facilitated workshops, observation, prototyping, focus groups, surveys.

• Experience with various project delivery methodologies (e.g. Waterfall, Iterative and / or Agile) or on a large-scale project.
• Ability to speak with Developers about features, issues and potential solutions with a high degree of technical sophistication.
• Ability to speak with the vendor Research & Development teams in addition to project teams with a high degree of business and product knowledge.
• Able to analyze large data sets, identify underlying data patterns, document findings and problem solve.
• Effectively communicate - verbal and written. Ability to lead projects and / or junior analysts as per project requirements.

If you are right for his role, you probably have :

• 5 years as a Technical Business System Analyst in Banking, Financial Institutions, or Fintech.
• Strong background in the Identity and Access Management (IAM).
• Proficiency in SQL Programming Skills.
• Hands-on experience with database management.
• Excellent Writing and Communication Skills.
• Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP)
• SQL and database technologies JIRA and Confluence Waterfall & Agile project Excel and Visio (or other diagramming tool).

Nice to have skills :

• Certification in SQL and RACF (Resource Access Control Facility) is very Nice to have.
• Experience with Unix / Linux environments, Understanding of data dictionaries is Big Nice to have.
• Basic Understanding of Programming language concepts : OO programming technologies, MQ.
• Experience with RHEL, Z / OS, IBMi and HPe Nonstop operating systems. · Experience working with various middleware platforms including WebSphere Application Server and PEGA.
