Ideal Student Summer JobLocal RV Park has upcoming openings for summer Park Attendant positions. April / May to September. Rotating shifts so some evenings to 8pm and weekends will be required. Customer service, cleaning of facilities, lawn care, gardening, and painting. Rate of pay is $21.00 / hr. We are located in the Castlegar. If you take pride in your work and enjoy seeing the results of that hard work, then this is the job for you! Maintain a clean and professional appearance. Be friendly, courteous and helpful to guests. Communicate courteously on a regular basis with all staff. Maintain log book and computer reservation system. Check in guests and process all fees and receipts by computer and POS system. Enforce all posted rules as needed in a fair and diplomatic manner. Cut and remove brush and tree limbs as directed. Clean the restrooms and laundry facilities daily. Keep sites, roadways and surrounding areas free of trash, litter and debris. Rake sites and access areas as needed. Check all facilities and equipment daily for needed repairs. Complete general repairs as instructed. Maintain cleanliness of reception area. Empty any trash cans daily and put in dumpster. Mow, trim, and cut vegetation throughout the park with associated power equipment. Report any problems to park owners. Provide guests with local attractions, services and interpretive information. Move and set up manual sprinklers as well as operate underground irrigation. Training will be provided.
