On behalf of our client, a leading provider of reliable, full-featured, and competitively priced connectivity solutions, Procom is seeking a dynamic and dedicated professional to join their team as a Windows Application Developer. This is a permanent, full-time position based in Markham, Ontario, Canada (onsite).

Windows Application Developer – C / C++ / Windows Server Role Overview :

As a Windows Application Developer, you will play a crucial role in upgrading our Device Management System Software product. This enterprise-grade, multi-user, Windows server-based centralized management package streamlines the configuration, administration, monitoring, and troubleshooting of network devices. Leveraging your expertise, Network Administrators will securely access this system via their Internet Browser to manage 10’s, 100’s, or thousands of Perle devices from a centralized server.

Windows Application Developer – C / C++ / Windows Server Key Responsibilities :

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to upgrade the Device Management System Software product.
  • Develop robust Windows applications using C / C++ built on Windows Server.
  • Utilize cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure for scalable and reliable solutions.
  • Enhance user experience by incorporating HTML for intuitive interfaces.
  • Integrate with SQL Server databases to ensure efficient data management and retrieval.

Windows Application Developer – C / C++ / Windows Server Must Have Skills :

  • Proficiency in Windows Application Development, with a strong command of C / C++ programming languages.
  • Expertise in Windows Server environments, ensuring compatibility and optimization.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure.
  • Knowledge of HTML for front-end development and user interface design.
  • Experience with SQL Server for database management and manipulation.
  • Understanding of both legacy and modern Windows tools and applications.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently as a senior-level Developer, serving as the subject matter expert (SME) for the product.
