The successful candidate must be able to reliably commute among Abbotsford, Chilliwack and Langley. You will be responsible for : Identifying theft, mischief, and fraud.* Maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and staff.* Observing, meeting and greeting customers.* Approaching situations with a customer-first mindset.* Maintaining a professional demeanor when dealing with the public, staff, and law enforcement agencies.* Conducting security audits of the building and assets.* Performing arrests, ask to pays, and product recoveries.* Adhering to all company policies and procedures.* Documenting all evidence and typing clear and concise reports as required. You have : A valid BC Security Worker’s Licence with Security Guard endorsement.* Reliable transportation with the ability to travel between various store locations.* Solid decision-making skills with the ability to make quick decisions under difficult circumstances.* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.* Demonstrated ability to work well with minimal supervision.* Integrity, enthusiasm, and willingness to Go the Extra Mile.* Valid Advanced Security Training / AST (considered an asset).* Fluency in a second language (considered an asset).* Open availability (considered an asset).
