Supplier Relationship Manager

BMO is currently sourcing for a Supplier Relationship Manager to support the Technology Vendor Management team in Toronto.
This is a hybrid role requiring 1 day/week in-office

Role Summary

The Supplier Relationship Manager will oversee vendor contracts, relationships, and performance for BMO’s technology partners. Reporting to the CIO and LTO, this role ensures vendors meet service, cost, and compliance expectations while supporting Commercial Banking initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage technology vendor contracts and partnerships

• Lead contract negotiations and resolve disputes

• Support onboarding and risk assessments of new suppliers

• Ensure compliance with third-party risk and procurement policies

• Provide financial forecasting, tracking, and budget validation

• Build strong internal and external stakeholder relationships

• Report regularly to CIOs and LTOs for vendor oversight

Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years in vendor management, contract negotiation, and drafting

• Expertise in supplier risk and financial management

• Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and relationship-building skills

• General knowledge of IT/software project delivery

• University degree or diploma in Business, Technology, or equivalent experience

• Experience supporting Commercial Banking applications
