Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Front-End Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Front-End Developer with strong experience in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and a deep understanding of design this role you will focus on building and maintaining scalable performant and visually consistent web experiences within AEM ensuring seamless integration with design standards.

Your future duties and responsibilities :

• Develop and maintain AEM components templates and client-side scripts aligned with design system principles.
• Implement responsive and accessible UI designs using HTML CSS and JavaScript.
• Collaborate with UX / UI teams to ensure design consistency across platforms.
• Optimise front-end performance for speed and scalability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve AEM-related front-end issues.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role :

Technical Requirements :

A minimum of 8 (8) years of related experience

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field

Strong understanding of design systems and component-oriented development

Experience integrating AEM with REST APIs and web services

Proven experience as an AEM Front-End Developer

Proficiency in HTML CSS (including preprocessors) JavaScript and knowledge of modern frameworks (e.g. React Vue)

AEM : Significant experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM Sites)

AEM Components : Development using HTL / Sightly Sling Models and OSGi

Front-End : Proficiency in JavaScript HTML5 CSS3 and responsive design

AEM Back-End : Knowledge of Java development within the AEM ecosystem

Integration : Consumption of REST APIs and integration of external services

Work arrangement : Hybrid 2 days in the office

Location : Downtown Montreal

CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level geographic market experience and training and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $70000 $135000. This role is an existing vacancy.

Bilingualism (French and English) is required for this position due to the nature of the role requiring interaction with national and global clients.
