Job Description
Reporting to the Global Director, Human Resources and working in close collaboration with Leadership, Hiring Managers, and local HR teams across all regions, the Talent Acquisition Manager leads and coordinates AIM Metals & Alloys’ global talent acquisition function.
- Define and deploy a global recruitment strategy aligned with AIM’s business priorities and growth objectives.
- Standardize recruitment processes, tools, and performance metrics while considering local market realities.
- Monitor market trends and recommend proactive talent acquisition solutions.
- Lead recruitment efforts for critical and strategic roles in collaboration with hiring managers and local HR teams.
- Clarify hiring needs, finalize job descriptions, and implement targeted sourcing strategies.
- Ensure a structured handoff from recruitment to onboarding.
- Partner with local teams to support effective onboarding (documentation, systems, training, compliance).
- Provide leadership and support to the Talent Acquisition Specialist based in Montréal.
- Coordinate recruitment efforts with local HR teams globally.
- Prepare recruitment reports and performance metrics for HR leadership and senior management.
Qualifications
This role requires the ability to communicate effectively in French and English.University degree in Human Resources Management or a related field.Professional HR certification is an asset.Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Talent Acquisition role, preferably in a multi-site, manufacturing, or industrial environment with international exposure.Proven experience managing recruitment processes across multiple regions or countries.Strong experience with applicant tracking systems and HRIS and recruitment technologies.Advanced proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Ability to travel within the U.S. and internationally on an occasional basis.Demonstrated ability to influence, advise, and collaborate with diverse stakeholders across functions and geographies.Ability to adapt quickly in a complex, evolving organizational environment.Additional Information
