Nanny Wanted - Part Time Nanny For Warm, Montessori Inspired Family (Flexible Hours)

Part-Time Nanny Position – Mahogany, Calgary

We are a cheerful and easygoing family of four living in Mahogany. Our family includes myself, my husband, and our two children, Luka (3) and Lexie (2). We are currently looking for a warm, reliable, and experienced part-time nanny who enjoys working with young children and would be interested in becoming part of our family long term.

We are hoping to find someone who is nurturing, organized, and confident caring for toddlers. Someone who enjoys engaging children through hands-on play, learning activities, and getting outdoors would be a wonderful fit for our family.

Schedule :

We are looking for approximately 10 to 25 hours per week. The schedule may include a mix of mornings, afternoons, and occasional evenings. We are happy to be flexible and work with the right candidate’s availability when possible.

My husband works from home and I run a real estate company, so I’m often in and out during the day. We try to maintain a relaxed and supportive home environment. We also have a friendly cat, so being comfortable around pets is important.

Responsibilities :

• Providing attentive, loving care for Luka and Lexie
• Engaging the children in age-appropriate play, learning activities, and outdoor time
• Preparing simple meals and snacks for the children
• Light housekeeping related to the children such as tidying toys and children’s laundry
• Occasionally helping with small household tasks like unloading the dishwasher or sweeping
• Potentially driving the children to activities when needed

Activity & Outings :

We encourage our nanny to create fun and engaging days for the kids. We love the idea of our children getting out of the house regularly, whether that’s trips to parks, libraries, play centres, or other activities around the city. We are happy to cover the cost of outings, activities, craft supplies, and anything needed to help plan creative and fun days for the kids. We would love someone who enjoys organizing crafts, hands-on activities, and experiences that help keep the kids curious, active, and learning.

Qualifications :

We are hoping to find someone with :

• At least 4 years of childcare or nanny experience
• Strong references from previous families
• Experience caring for toddlers
• A valid driver’s license a reliable car
• Experience preparing meals for young children

A background in early childhood education or Montessori-style learning would be a bonus but not required.

Compensation

Hourly rate : $23–$32 per hour depending on experience and qualifications.
