Job description

Title : Senior Front End Engineer

Location : Ontario, Canada / Remote

Duration : 6 Months + possible Extensions

You know the tools… HTML / CSS / Javascript , you write clean and maintainable code and respect the craft. Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and development of complex web applications
  • Ensure the scalability and performance of applications
  • Bring energy and commitment to our inclusive and equitable team environment
  • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement new features
  • Contribute to the software development lifecycle from planning to deployment
  • Refactoring existing code for maintainability and performance
  • Mentor and guide junior developers Ideal Skills & Experience
  • In-depth knowledge of API and networking patterns, including RESTful services and modern asynchronous communication techniques, to ensure seamless data exchange and integration between front-end

applications and back-end services

  • Experience determining requirements, and quickly iterating based on user feedback
  • You evangelize the importance of communication through code, presentations, slack / teams, and meetings

    • Required Skills

  • 5+ years of experience working with modern JavaScript technologies.
  • Skilled at building user-facing applications and supporting systems and libraries on web and / or desktop using front-end technologies such as JavaScript, TypeScript, React, VUE, HTML and CSS
  • Experience with version control systems like Git
  • Familiarity with CI / CD pipelines and DevOps practices
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
  • Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token
