Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Avionics Technician to join our team, specializing in aircraft installations on the Dash 8 Q400. This role involves hands-on work across airframes, cockpits, and underfloor areas, including wire installations, interpretation of wiring diagrams, and wire harness reviews. The position includes a mix of bench work, line maintenance, installations, and aircraft conversions.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform avionics installations on the Dash 8 Q400, including airframe, cockpit, and underfloor work
• Review, interpret, and work from wiring diagrams and wire harness documentation
• Complete bench work as required
• Carry out line maintenance, installations, and aircraft conversions efficiently
• Work closely with team members and lead hands to ensure aircraft functionality and quality standards

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in avionics installation and repair
• Licensed or unlicensed AME with 3+ years of avionics experience
• Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and wiring diagrams

Work Environment & Schedule

• Team‑based environment with 5–6 technicians, reporting to a team lead or lead hand
• Basic hand tools required; all specialized tooling provided
• Monday to Friday, 10‑hour shifts from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Occasional Saturday overtime as required

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Vancouver, BC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $52.50 - $55.00/hr.

Workplace Type

This is a fully onsite position in Vancouver,BC.
