Job description

Do you want to work for one of the top 5 banks in Canada?

In this role you would be responsible for opening new commercial deposit accounts along with processing account change requests for existing commercial deposit accounts (i.e. change in signing authority)

  • Location : Markham Ontario
  • Salary : $22 / hour

12 month contract with possibility of extension and conversion to FTE

Responsibilities

Opens new commercial deposit accounts

Processes account change requests for existing commercial deposit accounts (i.e. change in signing authority)

Opens additional accounts for existing customers via Letter Of Direction

Obtain / compile required supporting documentation

Follows AML, regulatory & legal compliance requirements

Qualifications

MUST HAVE :

1. Fast-paced, multitasking, work well under pressure

2. Basic understanding of AML Compliance

3. Computer Savvy – MS Suites Excel : basic understanding

4. Typing speed min 60-65 wpm

5. Previous admin work / previous Ops officer work – 2+ years

6. Strong oral and written communication skills

NICE TO HAVE :

1. Banking Experience / Previous financial institution

2. Knowledge of Host applications and C3 considered an asset

3. Bilingual – French
