Job description

Position : Laser Operator

Location : Oakville, ON

Salary : $20 - $22 per hour (depending on experience and qualifications)

Industry : Manufacturing / Metal Assembly / Operator / Production

Employment Term : Fulltime / Permanent

Shift : Afternoons

Roles & Responsibilities :

  • Operate and set-up laser machines to perform quality work.
  • Read and interpret blueprints / schematics to perform accurate set-ups.
  • Perform daily maintenance checks and do minor troubleshooting as required.
  • Other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience :

  • Highschool diploma.
  • 2 – 3 years related laser operator experience.
  • Previous experience with Bystronic and Trumpf Laser machines.
  • Programming / computer knowledge
  • Crane license.
  • Able to report to a straight afternoons shift.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, both verbal and written.
