It supports the organisation’s financial operations, reporting, and compliance. You will be responsible for full‑cycle accounting and financial analysis. The right candidate will thrive in a fast paced, dynamic environment and will be capable of managing multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Perform full-cycle accounting including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
• Prepare and submit tax and government‑related filings.
• Support the implementation and maintenance of a perpetual inventory system.
• Assist in itemizing expenditures related to inventory, including freight, duties, and vendor rebates.
• Analyze overhead costs, contract margins, and markup structures to identify risks, opportunities, and cost‑saving measures.
• Calculate annual labour and overhead rates to support cost planning and margin analysis.
• Prepare weekly payment schedules and ensure time‑sensitive payments.
• Support budgeting processes.
• Monitor daily cash balances and prepare cash flow reports.
• Participate in ongoing process improvement initiatives and deployment of new financial systems (e.g. CRM, ERP).
• Contribute to the development and documentation of internal control processes.
