What are your contributions to the team?

During your internship, you will contribute to :

Develop, maintain and optimize data flows using leading cloud solutions like Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Databricks

Develop, maintain and optimize reports and dashboards with tools like PowerBI

Apply best practices in software development and use a DevOps framework for continuous integration and continuous deployment (CICD) of data solutions.

During your internship, you will learn :

The architecture and operation of a modern data platform (Lakehouse).

The principles of software development with DevOps and CICD methodology.

The fundamentals elements of cloud data solutions

Converting business requirements into technical solutions

Communication between business unit users, solution architects, and developers

The necessary test and validation methods before a data solution is deployed into production

Key security elements in the development of data solutions

The importance of data governance to accelerate the delivery of data solutions, including artificial intelligence solutions.

How to thrive in this role?

You are enrolled in an undergraduate (final year) or graduate university program in computer science, engineering, or other applied science programs.

You are familiar with data analysis tools like PowerBI

You are proficient in python and SQL languages

You already have internship experience in the field of data analytics

You speak and write French and English.

Location : Administrative Centre (CA)

Duration : 8 months

Flexible workplace-Hybrid

It is important to note that our internship opportunities are open to students only, not new graduates. All our interns may be required to occasionally travel outside of Canada for training / work purpose.
