TWD is currently looking for a permanent Human Resources Coordinator , reporting to the Director of Human Resources. This position is based in Burlington, ON. Responsibilities : Act as the primary point of contact for all general HR inquiries ensuring a strong customer service focus. Assist in processing bi-weekly Canada and US payroll using ADP for TWD and its subsidiaries. Administer employee benefits programs including group benefits plan, RRSP and 401K programs, employee referral bonus program, wellness subsidy program and service awards program. Onboard new hires Maintain accurate and up-to-date staff records both hard copy and digital in compliance with applicable legislation Maintain HR documentation and staff public records on the company intranet Produce and submit a variety of HR reports and employee documentation Conduct exit interviews and assist with processing separation documentation and offboarding Assist staff with the interpretation of human resources policies, compensation and benefit programs and employment agreements Ensure compliance with relevant employment and occupational health and safety legislation Assist the HR Business Partner and Director of HR with Special Projects Requirements and Qualifications : Degree or diploma in a related field Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) is an asset but not required 3+ years of related experience in Human Resources. Knowledge of and exposure to a range of human resources activities, including recruitment, orientation, compensation and benefits, performance management, employee relations, and employee communications Exceptional attention to detail Familiarity with the use of applicant tracking systems (ADP familiarity is an asset) Exposure to processing payroll in both Canada and the US is an asset Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing Ability to interpret and implement company policies and procedures Ability to work individually as well as part of a team Demonstrated time management skills High flexibility with strong interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse and fast-paced environment High level of integrity and work ethic Strong sense of ethics and the ability to handle sensitive or private information with tact and discretion Payroll experience (ADP preferred) We embrace diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for everyone.
