En tant que technicien(ne) de ressources, vous jouerez un rôle essentiel dans le soutien des opérations d'énergie éolienne sur plusieurs sites et projets. Que ce soit pour des travaux de service ou de construction, vous apporterez vos compétences et votre adaptabilité là où elles sont le plus nécessaires. Responsabilités principales
  • Diagnostiquer, réparer et entretenir les turbines éoliennes avec votre équipe.
  • Voyager sur différents sites, travailler avec des équipes variées et vivre des expériences diverses, incluant la gestion des déplacements et la codification des coûts.
  • Effectuer des inspections de sécurité et assurer un environnement de travail sécuritaire.
  • Résoudre des problèmes complexes avec une bonne gestion personnelle.
  • Travailler sur des projets de construction et d'installation, superviser le cycle de vie complet des turbines.

Ce rôle offre une exposition à une grande variété de plateformes de turbines, de conditions de site et d'environnements d'équipe — idéal pour les technicien(ne)s qui aiment la diversité et l'apprentissage continu.

Profil recherché
  • Minimum de 6 mois avec un certificat de technicien(ne) en énergie éolienne, ou 1 an d'expérience en turbines éoliennes, ou 2 ans dans les domaines mécaniques ou électriques.
  • Excellentes aptitudes en résolution de problèmes et approche proactive.
  • Conscience de la sécurité et engagement envers les meilleures pratiques.
  • Capacité à bien travailler en équipe et à apprécier les environnements collaboratifs.
  • Bonne condition physique, à l'aise pour travailler dans diverses conditions et en hauteur.
  • Capacité de parler, lire et suivre des instructions en français et en anglais.
  • Diplôme d'études secondaires (certificat de fin d'études ou équivalent), permis de conduire valide et autorisation légale de travailler au Canada sans besoin de parrainage actuel ou futur.

Exigences physiques

Les exigences physiques décrites ici représentent celles auxquelles un(e) employé(e) doit répondre pour accomplir efficacement les fonctions essentielles de ce rôle.   • Capacité à rester debout et marcher pendant de longues périodes.
  • Capacité auditive pour utiliser des téléphones, radios à courte portée ou dispositifs similaires.

  • Capacité à suivre une formation et obtenir des certifications dans les programmes de sécurité requis, incluant LOTO, qualification électrique, arrêt de chute, sauvetage en hauteur, descente d'urgence et espace confiné.
  • Capacité à participer avec succès à tous les cours de formation, incluant les exercices pratiques de descente contrôlée.

Position Overview

As a Resource Technician, you'll play a critical role in supporting wind energy operations across multiple sites and projects. Whether assisting with service work or construction efforts, you'll bring your skills and adaptability to where they're needed most. Backed by Vestas training and qualifications, you'll help ensure that teams are equipped, and projects stay on track—delivering clean, reliable energy to communities everywhere. Your flexibility and commitment are key to powering progress, no matter your background in wind, electrical, mechanical, or field operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain wind turbines with your team.


  • Travel to different sites, work with diverse teams, and engage with varied experiences, including travel management and cost coding.


  • Conduct safety inspections and ensure a secure working environment.


  • Address advanced problem-solving tasks with effective self-management.


  • Work on construction and installation projects, overseeing the full life cycle of turbines.


  • This role offers exposure to a wide range of turbine platforms, site conditions, and team environments—ideal for technicians who thrive on variety and continuous learning.


Who You Are

  • At least 6 months with a Wind Technician certificate, or 1 year of wind turbine experience, or 2 years in mechanical or electrical fields.


  • Highly developed problem-solving abilities and an engaged approach to responsibilities.


  • Safety-conscious and committed to best practices.


  • Able to work well with others and enjoy collaborative environments.


  • Physically fit, comfortable working in various conditions, and at heights.


  • Ability to speak, read and follow instructions in French and English.


  • You have a high school diploma (Graduation Certificate or equivalent), a valid driver's license, and are legally authorized to work in Canada without the need for current or future sponsorship.

Physical Demands

  • Ability to observe training and obtain certification in required safety programs that include LOTO, Electrical Qualification, Fall Arrest & High Angle Rescue & Emergency Decent, and Confined Space.


  • Ability to successfully participate in all training courses, including controlled decent practical exercises.


  • Due to design parameters of fall protection equipment, the combined weight of prospective employee, required PPE and gear shall not exceed 300 lbs. Required PPE and gear may weigh up to 40 lbs.
