Position Overview
We’re experiencing exciting growth and are looking for a motivated Inventory Planner Co-Op Student to join our dynamic team! This hybrid position requires working in our Calgary AB, office Monday through Thursday, with the option to work remotely on Fridays.

Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct Data Analysis for Inventory Optimization : Conduct sophisticated data analysis using statistical methods to identify drivers of demand volatility, optimal safety stock levels, and inventory placement strategies to minimize cost while maximizing service levels.
- Support the team in monitoring inventory levels across various locations to ensure products are available when needed, while minimizing excess stock.
- Collect, clean, and analyze data to identify inventory discrepancies, root causes of issues, and opportunities for improvement.
- Contribute to the development and documentation of inventory planning processes and procedures.
- Create data visualization and reporting to provide clear visibility into inventory performance, clearly communicate complex model outputs, forecast accuracy, and key performance indicators to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Work closely with the sales, marketing, and logistics teams to align inventory plans and product availability.
Qualifications :
Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program in Data Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.Strong analytical skills and a passion for working with numbers and data.Proficiency with Microsoft Excel is required; experience with other data analysis tools or inventory management software is a plus.Problem-Solving and Communication : A proactive, detail-oriented approach to complex analytical problem-solving, coupled with the ability to clearly articulate technical findings and model limitations to a diverse audience.A strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.What You Will Gain :
