Forklift Operator

Our client, a leading manufacturer in the frozen dessert industry, is seeking a Forklift Operator to join their team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be part of the warehouse operations supporting shipping and receiving departments. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title : Forklift Operator (reach truck)

Location : Delta, BC

Pay Range : $20-22.97 / hr

Temp to Perm

What's the Job?

Locating products in the warehouse using reach trucks

Order selection and loading of trailers

Maintaining cleanliness and organization of receiving and shipping areas

Operating power equipment, including hi-reach forklifts

Adhering to safety procedures, policies, and best practices

What's Needed?

3 to 5 years of relevant warehouse experience

Valid Forklift #2 certification (counterbalance & narrow aisle) and power jack experience

Knowledge of receiving, picking, and shipping processes

Proficiency with Outlook and basic computer skills

Strong communication skills, both oral and written

What's in it for me?

Hourly pay rate of $22.97 / hr

Night shift premium of $1.50 for shifts starting between 9 : 00 PM and 3 : 00 AM
