About the role

Our growing Digital Platforms team is looking for a Product Owner !

The Product Owner leads the development efforts of a multi-disciplinary team of UX / UI, content, SEO and web developers by outlining and prioritising work based on business value.

The Product Owner will work closely with strategic Product Managers and Senior Product Owners to execute product strategies and roadmaps focused on enhancing the non-transactional shopping journey and digital experiences for our websites.

Workplace : Montreal, Toronto, St John's

What you’ll do :

Be the primary contact for the delivery team for information, work prioritization and decision making.

Responsible for aligning with Product Managers and Senior Product Owners on common strategies and managing cross team dependencies.

Partner and coordinate with web development, design, marketing, and other teams to prioritize, define, and execute product enhancements.

Lead, plan, and track the product through all phases of the lifecycle from project inception to market introduction.

Partner with teams and managers to gather requirements and facilitate projects.

Responsible for managing inter-project priority conflicts / Small requests and production defects.

Responsible for approving bi-monthly releases and ensuring a high level of quality by performing quality assurance testing.

Prepare user stories and manage the backlog, creating value for both the business and our representatives.

Ensure planning, facilitate demos, and participate in committees and retrospectives.

Ensure that products create a high level of engagement and exceed customer expectations.

Ensure delivery of products according to roadmaps.

Contribute to and may participate in steering / steering committees to provide status on ongoing projects, small requests, and production defects.

What you’ll bring :

Bachelor's degree in IT management, or any equivalent combination of education and experience.

5 years of experience of product management or product owner or equivalent experience for websites.

Experience and practical knowledge of applying Agile methodologies and processes.

Experience using project management tools such as Jira, and Confluence

Knowledgeable in CMS technologies (e.g. Craft, Drupal, AEM).

Excellent problem-solving skills to analyze options, understand trade-offs and arrive at the best solution.

CSPO or PSPO certified.

For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country.

No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.

You are :

You managed digital platforms teams using agile methodologies and have a proven track record of delivering digital projects.

Proven skills in project planning and management.

Ability to lead a team, facilitate scrums and conduct prioritization workshops.

Passionate about the user experience and a strong focus on operational efficiency.

Ability to influence others and excel at developing and maintaining relationships.

Positive, creative, analytical, and curious.

An excellent communicator, both in written and verbal form, with the ability to present to large audiences and lead group activities.

Capable of prioritizing and managing your time and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced, time-sensitive, results-oriented environment.
