Tasks
- Complete the full pay cycle (hourly, unionized and non-unionized) across Canada.
- Perform timesheet verification and validation as per collective agreements.
- Create and terminate employees in the pay system.
- Ensure any changes and maintenance of employee files (change of status, salary increase, change of position, etc.).
- Administer group insurance (membership, amendment, termination).
- Balance and submit union dues remittances.
- Produce various pay-related reports.
- Manage Records of Employment.
- Be the point of contact for all pay and group insurance issues.
- Participate in the development and implementation of HRIS modules.
- Carry out any other similar tasks.

Job requirements
- DCS in Business Administration or equivalent training / / or experience deemed relevant.
- Very good knowledge of the MS Office Excel tool.
- Knowledge of the ADP payroll system (an asset).
- Knowledge of HRIS (an asset).
- Minimum 2 years of complete payroll experience.
- Being a member or expecting to become a member of The Canadian Payroll Association (a considerable asset).
- Excellent level of bilingualism employees are across Canada.
- Knowledge of provincial labour laws and standards.
- Knowledge or interest in federal labour laws and standards (an asset).
- Ability to occasionally travel to the Boisbriand and Anjou plant.
