Title : Electrical Designer / Project Manager

Location : Edmonton, Alberta (must be in location or willing to relocate)

Salary : $70,000 - $90,000

Job Overview :

TalentSphere is seeking for a talented and experienced Electrical Designer / Engineer in Training to join a dynamic consulting firm in Edmonton, Alberta. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in leading electrical design projects, ensuring their successful completion. This role involves a mixture of overall electrical design work for the building industry (residential, institutional, and healthcare) and project management responsibilities (budgets, schedules, and mentoring juniors).

Key Responsibilities :

Electrical Design :

  • Develop and review electrical drawings, specifications, and calculations for a variety of projects, including but not limited to power distribution, lighting, and control systems.
  • Ensure that electrical designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and client requirements.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate electrical designs seamlessly into overall project plans.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • 2-5+ years of experience in similar role
  • Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD and Revit.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
