Job description

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Claims Adjuster to join a dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing compensation claims for Lifestyle, Auto, Boat, and RV products. You will have the opportunity to work in a hybrid environment with schedules from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday, including at least two days per week in the office. Responsibilities :

  • Review and analyze policies, assessments, and technical reports to determine claim amounts, negotiate, and settle claims.
  • Process outstanding compensation claims for Lifestyle, Auto, Boat, and RV products.
  • Provide advice to clients on specialized products and offer quick and exemplary customer service.
  • Perform tasks within granted limits and make autonomous decisions.
  • Maintain detailed records according to established protocols.
  • Participate in projects and regularly provide feedback on processes.
  • Collaborate with claims teams from other regions.
  • What you will need to succeed :

  • Post-secondary degree.
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in handling Property or Auto claims.
  • Experience in processing claims for specialized products, including RVs and boats.
  • Experience in customer service.
  • Possession of a claims expert license from AMF.
  • Required bilingualism : English and French.
  • Passion for Lifestyle claims and customer service.
