Account Manager – Inside Sales

Permanent , full-time, onsite, compensation commensurate to experience

About The Position

The Account Manager is directly responsible to the Director of Sales and General Manager . This is a sales representative position that is responsible for growing client partnerships.

Responsibilities :

  • Account Management :

Develop and maintain healthy relationships with clients

  • Entering Orders and confirming details with clients
  • Service / grow a client list in sales and profitability
  • Contact clients regularly to service their floral needs
  • Ensure that client order fulfilment is being monitored
  • Regular contact with clients
  • Acquire new customers and maintain a prospect list
  • Represent Staalduinen Floral Ltd. in an effective, ethical and professional manner.
  • Develop a thorough knowledge of the company and all the products and services that it offers.
  • Adhere to all company guidelines, procedures and policies
  • Serve clients assigned to other Account Managers when they are away.
  • Carry out any additional duties as requested
  • Requirement Qualifications

  • 2+ years directly related experience with Inside Sales / Account Management
  • Excellent prospecting and relationship building skills
  • Sales and customer service experience
  • Wholesale Floral or Retail Florist sales experience preferred.
  • Proficient with MS Office Applications
  • Computer skills with experience in ERP software
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English is required
  • Flexible and adaptable with sound work ethics
  • Strong organization & time management skills
  • Capable of working independently and as part of a team
  • Working Conditions

  • High energy, fast paced office environment
  • Occasional travel required to visit clients and prospects
  • Due to the nature of the floral industry, longer hours may be required around holidays
